Fenway Park
The oldest active ballpark in MLB, where a cramped city block accidentally invented some of baseball's most famous features.

Squeezed into Boston's dense Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood since 1912, the park's constrained lot produced its celebrated oddities. It has hosted 11 World Series, sits on the National Register of Historic Places, and marks the end of the Boston Irish Heritage Trail. Former pitcher Bill Lee called it "a shrine."
What to look for
- The Green Monster — the towering left-field wall built because the lot had nowhere to expand
- Pesky's Pole — the right-field foul pole at the park's narrowest corner
- The Triangle — an asymmetric deep-center pocket shaped by the irregular city block
Close to Kenmore Square; the park ends the Boston Irish Heritage Trail, making it a natural last stop on that walking route.
