John Jameson trained as a lawyer in Alloa, Scotland, before founding his distillery on Bow Street in 1780. His son Andrew's daughter Annie Jameson was the mother of Guglielmo Marconi. That founding address is now where you trace a brand selling over 8 million cases a year across 130-plus countries — back to one Scottish lawyer's change of career.
