Completed in 1971 on Töölönlahti Bay, this is the congress hall where 35 world leaders — including Brezhnev and Ford — gathered for the 1975 OSCE Summit. The lattice ceiling hides a tall void engineered to produce the same deep post-echo as a church tower, the acoustic trick Aalto built into the heart of the room.
