Marina da Glória

The same water where Olympic and Paralympic sailors raced in August 2016 still sits open to Guanabara Bay.

This working marina in the Glória neighbourhood carries a specific international pedigree: it served as the sailing venue for both the 2016 Summer Olympics (7–19 August) and the 2016 Summer Paralympics, anchoring the Flamengo Park cluster of Games venues. It also hosted the draw for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification — two major global events, one compact waterfront site.
