ArtScience Museum

A lotus-shaped building where rainwater drains through the roof by design and teamLab dissolves the walls below ground.

Singapore's largest private museum runs two to three overlapping exhibitions at once — rotating touring shows plus teamLab's permanent Future World filling most of Basement 2. Moshe Safdie's fibre-reinforced plastic exterior rises in ten "finger" extensions from a round base, each fingertip fitted with a skylight that provides sustainable natural illumination for the curved gallery walls beneath.
